Emmanuel Balogun, PhD is a Visiting Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and Associate Professor of Political Science at Skidmore College. His research focuses on multilateral reform and peace and security in Africa. He is the author of the book, Region-Building in West Africa: Convergence and Agency in ECOWAS. He is currently a Fellow with Good Authority, a media outlet focused on bringing political science research to a broader audience. Previously, Emmanuel served as Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of State and a member of the Board of Trustees at New England College. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from New England College, M.A. in Political Science from Western Illinois University, and M.A. and Ph.D from University of Delaware.
